There are some great iPhone apps that have hit the scene recently. These include Lineage M, Pokemon GO, and Genshin Impact. And while most of these are geared toward mobile gaming, there are other non-game apps that have gained a large following.

    About Sensor Tower Store Intelligence

Sensor Tower Store Intelligence is a platform that delivers key insights into the mobile app economy. It allows app developers to analyze their performance and understand how they are performing against their competitors. It provides data on the best apps, top grossing apps, and the most downloaded apps.

It also gives insight into how users engage with an app. This information allows developers to create better strategies for user acquisition campaigns.

It tracks downloads and revenue and analyzes the data to provide an accurate representation of an app’s engagement. The platform also provides recommendations on keywords and rankings. With its enterprise-level data, Sensor Tower offers app developers and publishers a competitive advantage.

Sensor Tower is a global mobile app market intelligence firm. It started by offering mobile SEO and spp store optimization services. Today, Sensor Tower serves more than 50,000 mobile apps worldwide, including the world’s largest games. It is trusted by Fortune 100 companies, research institutions, and major news outlets.

    Non-game iPhone app download trends

The first half of the year was a raging success for mobile apps, and the US App Store was no exception. Overall, Apple App Store revenue grew at a faster clip than its competitors, and the iOS faithful spent more in non-game apps than they did in games last quarter. While mobile gaming is a thriving segment in the US, the market is far from saturated. As such, the app store will likely continue to grow.

However, the growth in non-game apps has slowed in recent months. This is due to several factors, including the COVID-19 lockdown, which has stymied a number of popular mobile apps in the US. On the plus side, non-game apps have seen a notable uptick in subscriptions. This is a positive development as it opens the doors to newer and better entrants.

    Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact is an open world role playing game (RPG) developed by miHoYo and is available on PC, iOS, and Android. The game has been a major hit. Its gacha monetization system has made it one of the top grossing mobile games in the world. In addition to its gacha monetization strategy, the game’s live ops have also helped the title earn some big bucks.

In its first month, the game earned $245 million. This was more than the first month of Pokemon GO, which took nine months to reach the same mark. But Genshin didn’t just take the cake, it also proved the gaming zeitgeist was on the rise.

Genshin’s biggest accomplishments are its frequent content updates, the ability to generate a decent amount of ad revenue, and its impressive monetization strategies. These factors have aided the game in generating over $160 million in monthly revenues since December.

    Pokemon GO

The Pokemon GO app has been on the mobile gaming scene for almost a year now, and has gained the trust of millions of users. In the process, it has achieved an unprecedented level of success, racking up a whopping $1.2 billion in revenue last month alone. It’s also been downloaded more than 30 million times, which is not bad for a free mobile app. With this in mind, it’s no surprise that Apple has decided to give the game a more palatable 15 percent of its revenue for a year. This is one of the more significant moves in the company’s recent history. And it’s a move that may not have been necessary if not for the meteoric rise of the mobile gaming phenomenon.

    Lineage M

Lineage M is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by NCSoft. It is available for both iOS and Android devices. Since its release in June 2017, the game has received 8.2 million downloads. Of these, 7 million came from Android users. That’s 74.2 percent of the total. The average revenue earned per download is $279. Lineage M has received $2.3 billion from players. This figure represents 85 percent of its gross revenue from Android users.

    Conclusion

In terms of downloads, South Korea was the top-performing region. There were 9.2 million downloads in the country. Other countries included Japan, Indonesia, and the United States. These three countries combined accounted for 83 percent of the total downloads. Those three nations also made up the top three revenue sources. Combined, they contributed 57 percent of Lineage M’s total revenue.
