The Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) is conducted in two steps. The first step is JEE Main, and the second step is JEE Advanced. Unlike last year, the JEE Main examination will be conducted twice in the year 2022. The candidates who qualify in JEE Main will be permitted to appear for JEE Advanced.
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)
JEE is one of the prestigious examinations conducted in the country. The first session of JEE Main will be conducted in the month of April, and the second session of the examination will be conducted in the month of May. The examination is considered one of the toughest in the country. The IIT aspirants have to work really hard to crack the Joint Entrance Examination. The students who qualify in both JEE Main and JEE Advanced will get admission to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
The students who clear JEE Main will be given admission to the National Institute of Technology (NIT) and Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTI). The JEE examination will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). JEE 2022 is conducted in online mode, and it includes three papers, paper 1 is for B.Tech, paper 2A is for B.Arch and paper 3A is for B.Planning courses.
JEE Advanced consists of two papers, and it is mandatory that the candidates appear for both the papers. The question paper consists of three subjects: physics, chemistry and mathematics.
JEE Advanced Application
The application form for JEE Advanced 2022 will be released by IIT Bombay on the official website. IIT Bombay will be organising the entrance examination. The registration process for the foreign nationals will begin earlier than the rest of the students. Foreign nationals should satisfy the eligibility criteria to apply for the examination. The application form for the examination will be available for a limited period of time. The candidates are expected to enter all the details without any mistake and pay the application fee after submitting the application fee.
The candidates will be allowed to fill out the application form only after the registration is done. The candidate’s details like name, phone number, and email ID must be entered while registering. After the registration process is completed, the candidate will receive the login credentials in the mail ID and the phone number registered. The user ID and the password received in the mail can be used to open the application form. The candidates must enter their education and personal details and upload all the necessary documents while filling out the application form.
JEE Results
The candidates must enter the login credentials to check the JEE Main and JEE Advanced result. The JEE notification regarding the JEE Advanced results will be given on the official website and other websites related to JEE results. The candidate can view the result online, and there will be a provision available for downloading the result for future reference. The JEE Advanced result will include qualifying status, rank secured by the candidate, subject-wise score, all India rank, total positive score and the total score.
